A Message from Charles Evett: LundHalsey at Airspace World 2026

Charles Evett, CEO, LundHalsey Previews Airspace World 2026

As our team gets ready for Airspace World 2026 in Lisbon in just over a week’s time, I wanted to share why the event matters to LundHalsey and what we’ll be discussing with the aviation community this year.

Airspace World is one of the key ATC and ATM events for LundHalsey. It brings together many of the people and organisations shaping the future of air traffic management, and gives us the opportunity to meet with ANSPs, airport operators, aviation authorities, system integrators, consultants and technology partners.

With ATC and ATM environments continuing to evolve, the event gives us a valuable opportunity to discuss the practical challenges our customers are facing — from future tower concepts and simulation spaces to technology integration, ergonomics and long-term flexibility.

This year, we’ll be exhibiting at Stand H1-G42, where the team will be presenting a selection of our aviation control room solutions, including the Area Command Console and Tower Command Console.

Alongside the solutions on the stand, our team will also be available to discuss LundHalsey’s wider specialist portfolio of customisable control room solutions, including Tower Sim Display 360 and OPTIMA Command.

OPTIMA Command has been developed from our innovative OPTIMA design platform, giving us the flexibility to create adaptable, configurable and future-ready technical furniture solutions for demanding ATC and ATM environments. It reflects how we continue to build on our mission-critical experience while developing solutions shaped by the practical needs of aviation operators and organisations.

We’ll also be using the event to talk about new innovations and developments we’ll soon be bringing to the ATC and ATM community.

In aviation, the control room is never just a workspace. It has to support the people operating within it every day, often for long periods and in high-pressure environments. Comfort, visibility, accessibility, technology integration, resilience and long-term adaptability all matter, and these remain central to LundHalsey’s design and manufacturing approach.

We’re also pleased to be working alongside trusted technology partners at Airspace World. These close collaborations extend across projects, customers and industry events, and they play an important role in helping us present a more complete view of the modern control room environment.

By working with specialist partners, we’re able to show how ergonomic technical furniture, integrated technology and operator-focused visual display solutions can come together to support demanding ATC and ATM environments.

Our attendance at Airspace World 2026 also follows LundHalsey’s recent membership of ICAS, further strengthening our connection with the wider aviation and aerospace community, and our commitment to supporting organisations across the global ATC, ATM and airport systems sectors.

The LundHalsey team is once again very much looking forward to meeting customers, partners and industry colleagues in Lisbon, and continuing the conversations that help shape the next generation of aviation control room environments.

If you’re attending Airspace World 2026, please come and see us at Stand H1-G42.
