Az Zour Refinery – LNGI Project, Kuwait
LundHalsey delivered a critical control room furniture solution for the landmark Az Zour Refinery – part of KIPIC’s (Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company) LNGI Project. Recognised as the world’s largest grass-root refinery, Az Zour required robust, high-performance infrastructure to support its extensive operational and security needs.
Our delivery encompassed multiple secure facilities across the refinery complex:
- Gate House: 10 operator positions and 1 supervisor console designed for seamless control of access points and perimeter security.
- Process Building: 18 positions deployed across four specialist areas – Security Control Room, Guard House, State Security, and Security Observation – ensuring coordinated oversight of site-wide activities.
The Kontrol Command console range was chosen for its reliability, modularity, and outstanding ergonomic features, making it an ideal fit for KIPIC’s 24/7 mission-critical environments.
This project underlines LundHalsey’s ability to meet the complex demands of large-scale energy infrastructure. By delivering world-class control room furniture tailored to the specific needs of each operational zone, we supported KIPIC in setting new benchmarks for security and performance within the global oil and gas sector.
