Mission Control Centre (MBRSC)– MBZ-SAT Launch

LundHalsey was appointed to supply the control room furniture for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) – the UAE’s centre of excellence for space science and satellite technology.
The project scope included:
- 20 operator positions
- Bespoke console colour finishes and integrated lighting accents to enhance the look and feel of the control room
- Complete provision of drawer pedestals, ergonomic chairs, and equipment mounts
LundHalsey was involved from the early stages of the project, working closely with consultants to optimise layout and user ergonomics for the Mission Control environment. The centrepiece installation supported the live broadcast of the MBZ-SAT launch, witnessed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum in January 2025. This satellite mission marked a historic milestone for the UAE’s growing space programme.
The MBRSC project highlights LundHalsey’s ability to deliver innovative and technically precise control environments for national-level scientific and aerospace programmes.
