Throna K24 ATC Chair

The Throna K24 is a premium, high-specification air traffic control tower chair developed for the most demanding control room applications, including ATC approach and enroute environments, emergency dispatch, power plant monitoring and other continuously staffed environments. Designed for shared positions used by multiple operators across successive shifts, it combines robust construction with extensive ergonomic adjustment, allowing each operator to quickly adapt the chair to their preferred working position. As part of LundHalsey’s wider aviation and ATC solutions, the K24 is an ideal seating complement to specialist control room consoles including Area Command for area and approach control environments and Tower Command for ATC tower applications.

Seat height, backrest tilt and lumbar support can each be adjusted independently, while the SLS configuration adds a built-in seat slide for depth adjustment. An optional Schukra S4 lumbar upgrade provides height and depth control in place of the standard depth-only support. Optional 4D armrests, leather armrest covers and a padded 3D headrest offer further flexibility around the operator and workstation. Beneath this adjustability is an automotive-derived frame and heavy-duty M4 multiblock mechanism engineered for sustained use throughout 24/7 air traffic control and mission-critical operations.

Available in three configurations, the K24 can be specified in flame-retardant fabric across a choice of colours, with black leather also available. All upholstery is foam-backed to prevent fabric movement and resist wrinkling, maintaining its appearance through years of intensive use. Throna provides a limited warranty of up to 10 years on the K24 under normal 24/7 use, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
